Under the direction of the Director of Physician Practices & Recruitment/Physician Practice Network Manager, The Office Supervisor manages the daily operations of the physician office, the office staff, and ensures maximum financial performance.
Education/ Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred with coursework in health care administration
- Two years' experience in a lead role and/or managing a physician office strongly preferred
- Billing, coding, and collections experience
- Electronic medical records experience
- Experience in planning, organizing, delegating and supervising
- Excellent verbal and written communication; excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively
- Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation
- Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities necessary to interact with patients, family members, physicians, and other hospital associates
- If working in clinical capacity, must maintain required licensure/certification including active CPR certification
