Job description

Clark Hill PLC is Seeking an Office Services Clerk in Our Denver Office.
Clark Hill PLC has an immediate opening in its Denver, Colorado, office for a full-time Office Services Clerk. This position reports directly to the Office Manager and performs a combination of jobs including, but not limited to, mail room duties, copy center projects, processing supply and equipment needs, and other facilities and support services in order to assist the Denver office with functioning in a productive manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Follows set schedule for picking up mail in designated locations (offices, secretarial locations, mail room, etc.).
  2. Sorts and delivers incoming mail, as well as processes interoffice and outgoing mail, and deliveries.
  3. Handles shipment of Fed Ex, UPS, and other courier packages requiring overnight or specific delivery dates.
  4. Operates copier and maintains service on the equipment.
  5. Orders office and break room supplies and maintains an adequate inventory of all supplies.
  6. Occasionally meets with outside vendors for supply and service needs to gather information for the Office Manager.
  7. Reviews office invoices, compiles backup documentation, and forwards to Office Manager for approval.
  8. Troubleshoots equipment problems to include copiers, postage meter and kitchen equipment.
  9. Coordinates and schedules moves and setups of office furniture and fixtures to include desks, chairs, credenzas, file units, lamps/lights, and art work.
  10. Works with Office Manager on proposals for purchase of furniture, fixtures, and other equipment needs.
  11. Monitors equipment, furniture, and fixture deliveries. Helps Office Manager schedule and supervise delivery and installations of such.
  12. Supplies necessary beverage and food setups for conferences.
  13. Works with Office Manager and building maintenance to coordinate necessary repairs and upkeep of our occupied space such as painting, carpet cleaning, etc.
  14. Helps Office Manager coordinate appropriate office security with building management.
  15. When necessary, assists with troubleshooting various personal computer equipment, printers, and telecommunications equipment, as directed and supervised by the HelpDesk or Information Technology Department member.
  16. Assists in maintaining a periodic stock of necessary IT equipment and tools as requested by the Information Technology Department.
  17. When necessary, assists with checking in/out lap tops and projectors; and assists with meeting equipment set ups in conference rooms.
  18. Assists Records Department with records-related duties such as closing files and sending files off-site.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. General reporting on conditions, problems, and other support services related issues to the Office Manager as necessary.
  2. General reporting on conditions, problems, and other Information Technology related issues to the Office Manager, Help Desk, and/or the Chief Information Officer.
  3. Performs other duties as assigned by Office Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  1. Must take initiative and have good decision-making abilities.
  2. Should possess strong organizational, inter-personal, customer service, and communication skills.
  3. Possess clerical, mechanical, and technical skills.
  4. Neat appearance and dress.
  5. Should be computer literate and familiar with hardware set-ups.
  6. Willingness to perform a wide range of clerical or labor-related tasks as needed by the firm.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
  1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  2. At least 1-year facilities and Office Services-related experience.
Candidates must be able to work 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday with flexibility and/or occasional overtime. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours per week. The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $19.00-$23.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
