Position Description
Site Greeters are the first impression when entering a Bio campus. They project a consistent image that compliments the sites through appearance, performance, and personality. Providing a personalized and enthusiastic greeting to all visitors, stationed just inside the front door of each entrance, this crucial position is charged with ensuring all visitors feel welcomed and embodied by the client culture.
We’re searching for an experienced individual who can provide high-quality service to all our visitors and understands the worth of superb customer service. The successful candidate will have a confident personality, who inherently loves to help others and is happy to eliminate any anxiety that can come with visiting a large complex. They will take full pride and ownership of their floor assignment and be able to work with passion and discipline.
Position Responsibilities
- Warmly greet clients when they first enter the building. And personally transition visitors to the security reception for badging and building access.
- Once badging is granted, if visitors are travelers offer to tag and claim their baggage.
- Visitors should then be personally guided to their designated areas or if they are waiting for their host, offer them refreshments and amenities in the waiting area while proactively checking in until Host arrival.
- Proactively interact with guests in the lobby to provide guests with a sense of place.
- If assigned to Café, assist guests with kiosk ordering, food pick-up and general directions/guidance.
- Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up: water, coffee, cups, etc.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor and be the point of contact for guests to escalate questions, concerns, and needs.
- During slow periods, be an ambassador of the site by offering guests information regarding events.
- Routine collaboration with cross departments to address client and business needs. (Catering, Janitorial, Security, IT, etc.)
- Adhere to concierge uniforms, policies and standard practices and embrace adaptability due to changing business needs.
Position Required Skills

- Ability to be punctual and dependable with a good attendance record.
- Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications, iOS (smartphone) applications, and Internet.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Have sufficient mobility to navigate, stand and walk a large site complex without assistance for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Ability to work onsite, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Occasionally extended hours are required if campus is hosting a major event/occasion. Hours subject to change for business needs.
Position Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 year of previous experience in concierge, retail, hospitality, or corporate services.
- 2 manager references with a 3-year relevance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
