Job Description
We are looking for a reliable Office Clerk/Data Entry. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The Office Clerk/Data Entry ensures smooth running of our company’s offices and contributes in driving sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Creates spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders.
- Transfers data from hard copy to a digital database.
- Updates customer information in a database.
- Organizes existing data in a spreadsheet.
- Verifies outdated data and make any necessary changes to records.
- Operates common office equipment, like scanners and printers.
- Searches for and investigate information contained in files.
- Performs regular database backups to secure data.
- Inputs text-based and numerical information from source documents.
- Provides occasional administrative support.
- Sorts and organizes hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically.
- Reviews data for deficiencies or errors.
- Assists with special projects that require large amounts of data entry.
- Provides data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis.
- Enters data quickly and efficiently.
Skills
- Three (3) years' experience required
- Proven experience as an office assistant or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent knowledge of
- MS Office (Word/Excel)
- QuickBooks & ERP
- Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
