Full-Time w/Benefits - 35 Hrs./Wk. - Salary Starts @ $16.54/Hour

Chautauqua County Government has an ongoing need to fill Office Clerk (Spanish Speaking) positions throughout our many offices and locations. The work involves responsibility for the performance of standard clerical tasks including the use of a personal computer and other office equipment. Incumbents will use linguistic skills in the Spanish language in carrying out assignments with Spanish speaking customers. Specific duties vary with the needs of the department.

Positions are full-time, Monday thru Friday, 35 hours per week starting at $16.54/hour. These positions are benefit eligible.

Positions are being filled on a provisional basis pending the outcome of a future dated Civil Service examination for this title.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must be graduates from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma PLUS have six (6) months of clerical experience which shall have involved typing or computer data entry.

Please note - The candidate's ability to perform bi-lingual communication in English and Spanish will be assessed by the appointing authority and/or a supervisor during the probationary period.
