Job Description
- Position hours are M-F 12:00pm - 8:30pm
- Timely and professional communication with clients and offices through high volume of email, phone, and in person.
- Tracking and tracing of freight
- Collects and enters orders for new or additional product or services.
- Preparation of quotes to clients
- Client notification of shipment delays, missing cargo, damaged freight
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operations system
- Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
- Process all Driver paperwork and upload into computer software program.
- Dispatch freight
- Monitor reports
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comment
- Contribute to maintaining strong vendor relationships - airlines, trucking companies, and others
- Meet key performance indicators in support of department, branch, product, and company goals
- Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency
- Escalation of problems to Management when necessary
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective interpersonal skills-including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
- Attention to detail
- Strong computer skills and Microsoft Suite experience
- Basic US and global geography knowledge is a plus
- Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.57 - $19.69 per hour
