You will serve as an OFFICE AUTOMATION ASSISTANT in the Office of the Commanding Officer of NAVAVNFCSTCEN.Qualifications: This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
To qualify for the OFFICE AUTOMATION ASSISTANT, GS-0326-07, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience with DON Correspondence Manual, Navy Directive Issuance System, and Standard Subject Identification Codes.
- Experience using United States Postal Regulations.
- Experience operating a government vehicle to pick up official and personal U.S. Mail.
- Experience and basic fundamental knowledge of DON pay and personnel records to operate as a Command Pay/Personnel Administrator (CPPA).
- Experience with the Command Pay/Personnel Administrator (CPPA) system to function as system manager.
To qualify for the OFFICE AUTOMATION ASSISTANT, GS-0326-06, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience using strong written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.
- Experience and knowledge of DON Correspondence Manual, Navy Directive Issuance System, and Standard Subject Identification Codes.
- Experience using United States Postal Regulations.
- Experience operating a government vehicle to pick up official and personal U.S. Mail.
- Experience and basic fundamental knowledge of DON pay and personnel records to operate as a Command Pay/Personnel Administrator (CPPA).
