- SUMMARYUnder direct supervision, perform basic clerical duties including but not limited to the following.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Answer telephone, handling multiple lines.Handle routine office inquiries.Use word processing software.Assist with on-campus registration.Operate office equipment such as computer, copier, fax, typewriter, and calculator.Refer students to appropriate person or department.File correspondence and other records/documents.Type correspondence and other documents from notes, copies, or rough drafts.Provide support to other areas as needed.Maintain inventory of office supplies, orders maintenance/repairs for office equipment.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
