Job Description:
As an Office Assistant at Edge Ovens, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns via phone and email, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Input and maintain accurate customer and company data in Microsoft
Excel and other systems. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Administrative Support: Assist in various administrative tasks, such as managing schedules, coordinating meetings, ordering office supplies, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
Phone Skills: Manage phone calls and redirect them to the appropriate personnel. Handle phone inquiries effectively and professionally.
Document Preparation: Create, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Filing and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including filing paperwork and managing office equipment.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to support departmental goals and projects.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a customer service role, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and basic data analysis.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
Phone skills, with the ability to manage phone inquiries and handle calls professionally.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Fish Bowl software is a plus.
Previous Office Assistant experience is a bonus.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
