The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with multiple departments and groups to ensure a smooth transition and integration of IT systems during the State of Iowa's alignment efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Office 365 Management:
Administer and maintain Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
Monitor and optimize Office 365 performance, security, and compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve Office 365-related issues.
2. Active Directory Management:
Manage and maintain the Active Directory environment.
Implement domain renames and ensure seamless integration with existing domains.
Oversee user account management, group policies, and security permissions.
3. Data Migration:
Plan, coordinate, and execute data migration projects into Office 365.
Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility during migration.
Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues.
4. Mergers and Acquisitions:
Collaborate with various business units and IT teams to assess IT needs during mergers and acquisitions.
Develop and execute IT integration strategies and plans.
Ensure smooth transition of IT systems, applications, and data.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation for Office 365, Active Directory, and data migration processes.
Generate regular reports on system performance, project status, and compliance.
6. Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security best practices.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
