Off-Price Buyer / Sales Representative

Job Description:
We are seeking a Off-Price Buyer / Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a specific category of consumer goods; sourcing through existing and new clients and managing the supply to our retailers, and developing new business opportunities. Primary duties will be in office using email & phone, as well as occasional travel to trade shows.

Location:
On-Site in Encino/Calabasas

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of both suppliers and customers, building long-term relationships with them
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with clients
• Process deal flow from start to finish, including logistics
• Achieve sales targets and goals
• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting
• Collaborate with our buying team to ensure we have the right products to meet our clients' needs
• Attend trade shows to showcase our products and meet with both current and prospective clients
• Keep accurate records of sales activities
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any client issues in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the off-price industry or with brick and mortar retailers
• A proven track record of success in a commission based selling environment
• A great sense of style and a keen eye for consumer trends
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Google Docs
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows (up to 10% of the time)
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
