Job Description
Now Hiring Off Duty Officers to Work Major Sporting Events and Concerts
$30.00 per hour
Weekly Pay
The Roam Response Team Officer will provide roaming security services to client venues for sports, concerts and special events. May be on foot,
bicycle or motorized vehicle depending on venue and deployment. Officer shall respond to incidents either observed or called in from
command post, in support of regular security personnel and on-duty law enforcement. May be required to compose reports; deter criminal activity
and misconduct.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the
position. Other duties may be assigned:
Perform security patrols of designated areas at special events, on foot or in vehicle
Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Warn violators of rule infractions, such as over-intoxication, loitering, fighting, smoking, possession of
prohibited items and other violations of the law or client and venue policies
Respond to and intervene in altercations using verbal de-escalation techniques and reasonable force (only if
necessary to prevent harm to the office or others)
Call on and support on duty law enforcement in the enforcement of policies, laws and regulations
Assist in the performance of ejections and documentation thereof when required by client
Ensure only authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company and client property and ensure that
authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as
required by company and the client
Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders

Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
Must possess one or more of the following
o Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police,
Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
o Active or retired status as a law enforcement officer
o Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law
enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
o Police Officer Standards Training (POST) Certified
o Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
o A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
o Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior
active military service
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:
Indoor and outdoor environment, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat
Major activities include walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing
Physical effort is standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling
Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law
