We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for our Oculofacial Surgery practice (Oculofacial Plastic Surgery of Hawaii). We treat patients with cosmetic and functional concerns of the eyelids, face, tear ducts, and orbit. We perform a broad range of facial surgeries and non-surgical procedures (i.e. botulinum toxin injections, fillers, chemical peels, PRP, RF microneedling, and a broad array of laser skin rejuvenation procedures).

You will play an important role in providing patient-centered care with the highest level of customer service and will join a team that is hard-working, fun, and passionate about our work.
Dr. Bradford Lee was formerly a professor at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute / University of Miami School of Medicine (rated the #1 eye hospital in the USA) and is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. You will work closely with him and the entire team, and he will teach you to assist in surgery, perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures, and develop into a confident and competent oculoplastics PA by working with a world class team.

Essential Duties:
- Perform in-office procedures including biopsies, incision and drainage, injection of local anesthetic, suturing
- First assist with surgeries in office, at the ASC, or at Queens Same Day Surgery under supervision of Dr. Lee
- Evaluate new and follow-up patients, both in-office and via telemedicine, by taking medical histories, performing examinations, ordering laboratory tests and imaging, and developing treatment plans under Dr. Lee’s guidance.
- Perform cosmetic evaluations and develop cosmetic treatment plans for aesthetic procedures and skin care
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient counseling for oculoplastic procedures.
- Remove sutures during post op appointments.
- Touch bases with post-op patients the day after surgery
- Perform laser procedures using different laser platforms.
- Perform PRP injections to scalp, chemical peels, and microneedling
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a provider in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or ophthalmology
- Current Hawaii Physician Assistant license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Education
- This position requires a Master’s degree.
