Occupational Therapy Evaluator (Ot) - Brooklyn / Queens

An education network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team as an Occupational Therapy Evaluator. Traveling between school sites, the Occupational Therapy Evaluator will be responsible for conducting educationally relevant OT evaluations of children with and without diagnosed special education needs.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: School Year 23/24.
• Schedule: Students available during school hours
• Hours: Set number of evaluations per week depending on the candidate's capacity
• Setting: Queens and Brooklyn
• Student Demographic: Grades K-12

Responsibilities:
The Occupational Therapy Evaluator will:

• Determine a child's present level of performance and possible need for OT services
• Provide a written evaluation report with their findings,
• Develop goals and service recommendations if appropriate
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• NYS Occupational Therapist (OT) license
