Form of workWe are looking for a Occupational Therapist/CHT (or CHT in progress) to execute best-in-class care at Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital Physical Therapy & Hand Therapy in Greenfield and float to surrounding clinics. You will be employed by Doctors of Physical Therapy while representing and working with the well-known Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital physicians and medical teams. This position is available as full-time with the option to work 40 hours a week, or 30+ hours a week. Candidates looking for part-time hours will also be considered. This position is offering a sign on bonus up to $10,000!

Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) was founded in 2005 by a physical therapist with the main goal to consistently help patients achieve faster, long term relief. DPT currently operates over 70 outpatient physical therapy and hand therapy clinics across Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan.
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
Identify and meet patients' goals and needs
Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients' motion and mobility
Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination
Consult and practice with other health professionals
Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
Document patient care services

Skills
Proven work experience as an occupational therapist with hand therapy experience
Intensive education and clinical expertise
Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
Current knowledge of treatment practices

Valid license to practice occupational therapy
Graduate degree or greater in occupational therapy
