We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting the overall well-being and functional independence of students by addressing their sensory, motor, and developmental needs. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' sensory, motor, and developmental challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with a range of needs, including fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-help skills, and handwriting.
- Develop and implement therapeutic interventions and activities to improve students' functional abilities.
- Provide consultation and guidance to teachers and staff regarding classroom adaptations and strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
