The Therapist will work in conjunction with other team professionals to provide patient care, provide education for patients and their families, and to assist with discharge planning. This individual may be asked to assist with training and/or supervision of COTA or Rehab Technicians. Additionally, the Therapist must have the ability to work cooperatively with Physicians, other staff members, patients, and their families with dignity, courtesy, and respect. Additionally, the Therapist will pay close attention to detail and provide superior level of care. This position may have additional duties assigned as needed.
- Master's or Doctorate graduate of an accredited School of Occupational Therapy required. License / Certification required: Active OT license required, BLS required? Must also be skilled to provide general discipline specific therapy services to meet patient care requirements. ? Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. ? Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations. ? Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization. ? Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guest, visitors, and patients. ? Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. ? Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
