New YorkCenter for Child Development is a dynamic special education preschool and Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) program dedicated to excellence in the education and treatment of young children with special needs.
We have an immediate opening for a Full Time Occupational Therapist to join our team to provide CPSE services for children age’s three to five in our center-based program, in Harlem, NY.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide occupational therapy for children between 3-5 years of age with developmental delays, per the IEP
- Write daily session notes and quarterly progress reports
- Maintain effective working relationships with parents and staff
Requirements:
- New York State Occupational Therapy License
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a pediatric setting, preferred
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in a school a plus
Salary/Hours:
Full Time Salaried Position: $70,000 - $80,000; Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
