Sigma Healthcare team is looking for an Occupational Therapist to work at our client's facility in Marion, VA.
EMR Used: EPIC
Shift: Days Monday-Fridays with rotating weekends (one Saturday/month - will have a day off during the week. No on call.

Summary:
- We are looking for a committed and patient-focused Occupational Therapist to develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of people with physical, mental or developmental conditions.
- Proven working experience as Occupational Therapist
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy
- Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media
- Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools and assessments
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession
- Professional behavior.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy..
- BS degree or greater in occupational therapy
- Ability to supervise OT assistants and provide clinical updates .
- Current VAOccupational Therapist license by start of assignment.
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current certification as Occupational Therapy Registered (OTR) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
- Current BLS which cannot expire during assignment.
