Position Title: Occupational Therapist (Wednesday to Sunday)
Position Summary: We are seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist, or OTR to join our amazing team! The OT/OTR will be responsible for providing patients/residents with treatment to help them develop and improve their ability to complete everyday tasks related to their job and daily life
Responsibilities:
· Assess the patient’s physical, communication, and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
· Give advice and provide support for patient/residents and family members.
· Help patients/residents to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.
· Assist patients’ exercise for pain relief.
· Review the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly.
· Perform administrative tasks such as keeping records and writing reports.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of Nethealth software preferred (not required).
· Willingness to take responsibility.
· Flexible to work weekends
· Ability to be flexible and multitask
· Team Player!
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Occupational Therapy Licensure required.
Other Qualifications:
· Must possess a general appreciation of seniors and an understanding of the aging process, as well as be aware of its challenges. The maintenance and promotion of a good working relationship between staff, families and residents is essential.
· Must exhibit and promote a high level of customer service and hospitality towards and among all residents, employees, visitors, and the community.
