We are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapistto join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and serving as a resource in the therapy department.

Description:

Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patient’s ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of an Occupational Therapist include (but are not limited to):

• Evaluating a patient’s condition and needs
• Developing treatment plans to address a patient’s needs and help them meet specific goals
• Assessing a patient’s home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient’s needs and improve independence
• Training patients and their caregivers to use special equipment
• Assessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposes

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy or related discipline (Individuals who have obtained a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy in the past are grandfathered in and may apply.)
• Current state License as an Occupational Therapist
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
