General Information:

Requirements:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience in providing occupational therapy services, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, considering clients' individual needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve clients' functional abilities and independence in daily activities.
Provide individualized guidance and training to clients and their families, focusing on adaptive strategies, assistive devices, and environmental modifications.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Educate clients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management techniques to facilitate continued progress.
