- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in providing occupational therapy services, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, considering clients' individual needs and goals.
- Proficient in administering and interpreting various standardized assessments.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve clients' functional abilities and independence in daily activities.
- Provide individualized guidance and training to clients and their families, focusing on adaptive strategies, assistive devices, and environmental modifications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management techniques to facilitate continued progress.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy, actively participating in professional development activities.
