Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist
Location: Columbus, Georgia
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in Columbus, GA. Our organization is dedicated to providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children in the school setting. As a school-basedOT, your primary responsibility is to support students in their development of the skills needed to participate fully in school activities. This position is for the current school year.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify fine motor, sensory processing, and visual perceptual disorders in children.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address occupational therapy issues.
- Provide therapy services to children in individual or group settings in the school setting.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Keep accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Communicate with families and caregivers to provide education and support.
- Attend regular meetings with school staff and continuing education opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active GeorgiaState Licensure in Occupational Therapy.
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
