Rehab United Physical Therapy is seeking the right OT who can improve the health and wellness of the neurological and orthopedic patients in our Carlsbad facility. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, specializing in Hand Therapy and Neurological Conditions such as Parkinson's, MS, and stroke. The successful candidate will have a strong background in these areas, with a passion for helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. This outpatient center is highly recognized as a leader in multi-disciplinary treatment. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities, as well as their environment and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating Hand Therapy and Neurological rehabilitation techniques
• Educate patients and their families on effective strategies for managing symptoms and improving outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements

• CA licensed Occupational Therapy - National registration and state licensure REQUIRED.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Hand Therapy and Neurological Conditions, including Parkinson's, MS, and stroke
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of the upper extremity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in the field of occupational therapy
• CPR/First aid certification required
• Neuro OT experience is desired. (SCI, TBI, HA, CVA, MS, PD)
• Hand Therapy certifications desired
