Occupational Therapists at MPOWER specialize in treatment of the upper extremity for post-operative and non-operative patients and require experience in the orthopedic setting including experience with fabrication of customized splints.
Onboarding provided for training in MPOWER treatment standards of care, documentation, and communications to ensure success with patient care.
Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs) and those looking to take the CHT exam in the future encouraged to apply.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to manage multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and treatments including manual therapy techniques, orthopedic splinting and appropriate therapeutic exercise prescription
- Accurate and timely documentation and billing to support reimbursement for treatment interventions
- Provide home education materials to all patients through practice preferred software
- Maintain patient caseload sufficient to meet company productivity standards
- Supervise Therapy Technicians
- Attend all schedule meetings
- Maintain agreed upon clinic schedule
- Assist Clinic Manager with projects as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university required
- Minimum two years’ experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
- Current Physical Agents and Modalities Certification
- Training and experience in orthopedic care, splinting and manual therapy preferred
- Firm command of therapy payer-specific billing issues and documentation standards
- Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients
