Position Overview:

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating and treating patients of all ages and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities
• Monitor and document patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Stay current with industry developments and advancements in occupational therapy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current state license in Virginia
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical record systems
