Metro Care Providers PT, PLLC is a small business in New York State. We are seeking licensed Occupartional Therapists & Occupational Therapist Assistants to join our team to provide services for homebound patients in the following areas: Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedics and working with geriatric populations. Our goal is to deliver exceptional Occupational Therapy to the elder community.
Occupational Therapist resposabilities:
- Develop idividuaized treatment plans
- Coach patients and teach them therputic stretches and excercises.
- Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move about
- Maintain patient records by keeping track of goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly
- Use hands-on therapy such as massage to ease patients’ pain and provide stimulation to promote healing
This position offers competitive per diem rates as well as full time opportunities.
