Job Description:

Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Case Management
- Counseling and Intervention, EAP focal - focusing on Crisis support.
- Health Promotion & Risk Prevention
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance
- Worker and Workplace Hazard Detection
- Support the company's Workers Compensation Program in cooperation with the company's Human Resources and Safety Health and Environment Departments
- Support the company's Medical Surveillance Programs, in cooperation with Safety Health and Environment
- Support the company's Return to Work Program in cooperation with the company's Human Resources and Safety Health and Environment Departments
- Participate in Accident/Incident Investigation related to workplace accidents/injuries, as needed.
- Following up employee illnesses and injuries where required. In some instances working with 3rd party Leave Administrator.
- Interpretation and evaluation of the worker's medical and occupational history, subjective complaints, and physical examinations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in nursing with minimum of 2 years in occupational health nursing.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and guidelines.
- Experience with claims management for work-related injuries.
- Experience with EAP
- Experience with Wellness Programs
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Nurse desired.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel to branches
