Rotating (United States of America)
The Occupational Medicine Specialist performs Occupational Medicine testing (audiometry, spirometry, BAT, urine drug screen, and hair collection).
Performs clinical assistant duties (EKG, immunizations, phlebotomy, waived laboratory testing) as assigned by the Urgent Care administrative and clinical leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Urgent Care administrative and clinical leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1 year of healthcare experience is required
High School diploma or equivalent is required
Knowledge of medical terminology, organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively with a culturally diverse population: i.e. substance abuse testers, physicians, employer clients, and Worker Compensation case managers.
Demonstrates a high level of initiative.
Able to work independently.
Certification in applicable clinical profession (e.g. Certified Medical Assistant, Certified EMT, Certified Paramedic, etc.)
DOT drug screen collector (required within 45 days of employment)
BAT (required within 45 days of employment)
Hair collection (required within 45 days of employment)
CAOHC audiometry certification (required within 6 months of employment)
NIOSH spirometery certification (required within 6 months of employment)

Job Summary
