Our OAM Investment Analyst is responsible for supporting the investment team in its mandate to manage OneAmerica's general account investment portfolio.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor assigned industries and associated companies
- Monitor sector specific trends to assess potential impact to the existing portfolio and develop recommendations designed to optimize risk and return
- Identify new investment opportunities within the primary/secondary fixed income markets and develop and articulate a well-crafted investment thesis
- Maintain coverage of assigned sectors or asset classes
- Assist with the preparation of reports for various committees, boards, regulators, rating agencies, and other constituents
Educational Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or Mathematics
- Willingness to pursue the Chartered Financial Analyst designation
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Salary Band: 04C
This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
