Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care under the direction and supervision of the staff RN in charge of the team. Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment and promotes the efficiency of the nursing team. Provides group activities to keep patients engaged in their treatment and care.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of Nursing Assistant training program. Certified as a Nursing Assistant with the Maryland Board of Nursing.
