Nursing education at HC consists of basic preparation, which prepares graduates to take the national licensure examination for registered nurses and a career as an entry level registered nurse.
The program supports the college mission statement, preparing students through engagement, learning and achievement, integrating diversity, globalism, and sustainability. The program also contributes to the College’s vision as an “educational crossroads where dreams are shaped, communities created, and excellence achieved.” The Nursing Program distinguishes itself by offering a creative, cutting edge, hands-on, concept-based nursing education.
