Nurse Manager Oppurtunity - Emergency Department (ED/ER)
Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. The Nurse Manager provides twenty-four hour responsibility for personnel and operations of the Emergency Department. The Clinical Nurse Manager directs, supervises and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff, contributes to the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff and supports work redesign and quality improvement within the department. The Clinical Nurse Manager plans and administers the annual budget in collaboration with the Director. The Clinical Nurse Manager integrates evidence-based nursing practice utilizing the nursing process.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program. BSN required. Master's preferred. Minimum of three years nursing management preferred. ED nursing experience required. Progressive responsibility in healthcare management and leadership. Current South Carolina nursing license. BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment); Specialty certification of choice preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with common computer based applications, knowledge of nursing clinical practices and management, and knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices. Current SC or qualifying compact state nursing license. BLS, ACLS, and CPI (within six months); ENPC and TNCC preferred.
