Days: Monday thru Friday
Weekends: rotating manager on duty

Compensation: $76,000

General Overview
Due to the high amount of detail and electronic tracking of information, this position requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, familiarity with medical terminology, coding, and advanced computer literacy.
This position performs release of PHI (Protected Health Information) and electronic medical record organization. Associates in this role foster patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of this role.
This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills to always assure accuracy of the electronic record.
This position promotes positive customer relations through prompt and courteous service in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires confidence and organization to provide ongoing education to staff and clients who rely on our technology to provide exceptional care. This individual would be identified as the IT Champion.
Engage all facility staff to practice all infection prevention skills by performing hand hygiene, practicing standard precautions, keeping the facility's environment and equipment clean, and understanding and educating others about the appropriate use of antibiotics.
- NHSN Reporting
- Training of all staff utilizing the EMR systems.
- Review of Medical Records verifying skilled charting and identifying possible infection, clinical improvements, and educational needs for staff.
- Providing support and education to staff motivating compliance
Essential Job Functions
- Establish and Maintain Electronic Health Record
- Reports Directly to the Nursing Home Administrator
- Build and provide educational seminars to assure EHR compliance
- Provides training on electronic records for new and existing staff
- Educate providers and establish training materials and methods
- Acts as a resource for staff who have questions regarding the EHR
- Process all EHR requests and monitors/manages incoming requests
- Act as Medical Records Director
- Support Hospital Systems and Physicians who rely on us for patient information
- General Office Duties
Qualities of this Candidate
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining schedules and records
- Proficient in using scheduling software or systems
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines related to staffing and employee safety
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills to address scheduling conflicts or issues
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of Nursing Experience
- MDS experience is a plus
- Must be a nurse (RN)
Certificate or degree from college or technical school or 12 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
