Houston/The Woodlands is looking for a dynamic individual to coordinate the scheduling of our nurses and of our Field Staff to deliver a Higher Standard of Care for our clients. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling nursing assignments, field staff assignments for home care clients and facility staffing; and effectively managing positive communications with Nurses, Field Staff, Care Recipients, Family Caregivers, Facility Representatives, and works collaboratively with all members of the BrightStar Team. Essential Job Duties
- Effectively coordinates the customer care staffing assignments and
- Serves as point of contact for client/customer and employee relations
- Assists with the intake of new clients and informs potential clients of services and reasons to utilize BrightStar over other agencies
- Monitors and maintains daily time reports for payroll processing
- Participate in the on-call rotation (answering the phone after business hours)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a nursing coordinator or scheduling staff in Home Health and/or medical staffing
- High school graduate or equivalent required; some college and LVN preferred
- Skilled in using automated scheduling applications
