Job Description:

Bath Nursery Operations is seeking a full-time Nursery technician to assist in daily receiving and production functions. This position involves receiving live plant inventories and tracking of materials both incoming and outgoing from our nursery and collaborating vendors. The main task involves material management of required plant inventory in and out of the Nursery on a daily basis. One of the main duties of this position is delivery and/or planting of plants to a customer’s residence. The ability to drive larger box trucks and a small dump truck is required. Distance traveled can range from a couple miles up to forty miles.

Job Qualifications:
Education & Experience

· Basic Plant Identification

· Tree/Plant Nursery experience preferred.

· Basic computer skills and data input knowledge

· Ability to speak or learn basic Spanish helpful.

· Valid Driver’s License

· Delivery experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work outside as needed and to sit, talk, hear, and remain sedentary. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls and to drive vehicles. Must be able to extend hand and arms, as many tasks involve reaching with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk.

The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to push, pull and/or move up to 75 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
