Nursery Coordinator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Coordinator to oversee the Sunday morning operations of our nursery. The Nursery Coordinator will make sure that every nursery experience brings honor to the Lord and supports the parents or guardians in the care and education of their children in a consistently safe, clean and wholesome facility through a caring, qualified, and motivated nursery staff of volunteers. This is a part time position for Sunday mornings.

Duties:
- Maintain a record of nursery/ childcare workers and all their training
- Schedule, communicate, and remind nursery workers of their assignments
- Monitor/ order supplies and communicate nursery needs within budgeted limits
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitize the nursery floors, furniture, and bedding at the end of each shift
- Communicate issues regarding child behavior, sickness, or injury
- Communicate regularly with parents/ guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns or issues that may arise
- Prompt parents or guardians to provide updated information and maintain child profile records
- Maintain accurate records of attendance (sign-in/ sign-out), and any incidents

Requirements:
- Expected to be a practicing, Christian. Active membership at Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Lake Jackson, Texas is preferred.
- Previous experience in providing care in a professional setting for very young children preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in email, quickly and easily reached by text or email.
- Comply with EPC's Policies and Procedures for Child and Youth Protection Plan.
- Able to lift 30 pounds

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
