We have the following positions available at Patuxent Institution located in Jessup, Maryland.
- Registered Nurse
- Sunday through Thursday; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Sunday through Thursday 4:00 pm to 12:30 am
- Monday-Friday; 12:00 am-8:30 am
- Saturday, Sunday; 12:00 am-8:30 am
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- Monday-Friday; 8:00 am-4:30 pm
- Monday-Friday; 4:00 pm-12:30 am
- Saturday, Sunday; 8:00 am-12:30 am (two 16-hour shifts)
- Saturday and Sunday 8 hours shifts from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am
- Licensed Mental Health Professional
- Full-time Day shifts
- Part Time, weekends, 16 hours/week
We have the following positions available at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center located in Baltimore, Maryland.
- Registered Nurse
- Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; Sick Call
- Monday-Friday; 4:00 pm-12:30 am
- Tuesday-Saturday; 12:00 am-8:30 am
- Sunday and Monday; 12:00 am-8:30 am
- Saturday, Sunday 8:00 am-4:30 pm, Sick Call
- Licensed Mental Health Professional
- Monday-Friday; 7:30 am-4:00 pm
- Monday through Friday; 3:30 pm to 12:00 am / Increased Salary for Evening Shifts
- Monday-Friday; 11:30 pm - 8:00 am
- Weekends only. Saturday, Sunday 7:30 am-12:00 am (two 16-hour shifts)
Both the LPN and RN are responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient.
The Licensed Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
