Full Job Description
Restore First Health Specializes in highly effective and unique chronic wound treatments utilizing a specialized approach to stalled wounds performed at the bedside.
Position Summary:
Restore First Health is looking to add a full-time Nurse Practitioner to it’s mobile wound team to treat patients at the beside. This position requires the successful candidate to travel with a medical team to treat wounds patients in their residence. A clean driving record is required. In addition, this position will require treating wound patients using skin substitutes and other advanced wound practices. This position will require training at off location in New Jersey for a short period of time (1-2 weeks)
Qualification Summary:
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania
Master's Degree preferred
Current CPR Certification

Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments including recording complete medical and psychosocial history into the electronic medical record
- Record symptoms as described by patients
- Conduct physical examinations as it relates to wound conditions of the patient population we serve
- Make diagnoses based on examination and diagnostic testing
- Provide patient education to promote habits that will prevent diseases and maintain good health that is restorative in nature
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses to delivers best outcomes for patients
- Order and interpret lab and diagnostic testing
- Follow up on a patient to determine the effectiveness of recommended treatments
- Participate in the development of clinical and quality policies to effectively deliver and improve services and outcomes to patients
Skills
- Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics
- Team spirit with a positive attitude
- Patience and cool-headedness
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
Education and Experience:
- Two years experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Energetic, team player who is driven to adapt to a growing practice
- Ability to demonstrate compassion toward patients
- Ability to complete tasks thoroughly
