Just 4 Kids is a specialized Urgent Care clinic that focuses on the acute needs of children in Southeast, ID. We are currently seeking a full or part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our exceptional medical team. This provider will assess, plan, and provide care under the supervision of a physician. They will examine and treat urgent care patients to ensure proper injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will:
- Assess and treat patients under the supervision of a physician within the urgent care setting and triage patients to differentiate between immediate and less urgent care.
- Perform digital blocks, regional anesthesia, and minor outpatient surgical procedures.
- Participate in required education courses and perform CME credits to maintain license.
- Communicate patient needs, diagnosis, and course of treatment to the patient and/or guardian, as well as other clinical staff and instruct and educate patients about discharge instructions where applicable.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation to Just 4 Kids Urgent Care staff, insurance carriers, and companies.
- Maintain confidentiality with all patient information (HIPAA).

The preferred candidate for the Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant position will have the following:
- For PAs, successfully graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant Training Program and received and maintained certification.
- For NPs, holds a current license as a registered nurse. Graduation with a masters degree from an accredited education program and successfully passing a certification exam.
- Must possess a current license to practice medicine in the state of ID and an active DEA license and State Controlled Substance Certificate.
- Knowledge of advanced medical terminology, basic emergency, pediatric and generalist procedures.
- Ability to use the necessary equipment such as the nebulizer, EKG machine, etc.
- Proven excellent quality and clinical standards.
- Current PALS certified
- Organizational and analytical skills necessary to maintain efficient workflow.
- Ability to adjust responsibilities to accommodate a fast-paced work environment wile maintaining excellent customer service and staff interactions.
