Work environment

- Collaborate with Center Operations Director & Center Physical Therapy Director
- Provide comprehensive occupational medicine services, including, but not limited to:Preventive services for local businesses: pre-employment & maintenance physical exams, surveillance testing, biometric & wellness events
- Treatment of minor injuries sustained at work & crafting return to work plans
- Urgent Care services (unrelated to the workplace) are also offered
- Utilize Allscripts Touchworks EMR
- No nights or weekends required

As a PRN colleague, you will hold privileges for all California locations. We are seeking a team member to contribute PRN (Flex Scheduling) primarily in the locations listed below.

- There is a regular shift available every Thursday in Redwood City from 8am-5pm
Shift times include:
- Regular weekdays (most locations are open normal business hours only; some locations offer extended hours until 8pm)
- 7a-4p
- 8a-5pm
- 9a-6pm
- 10a-7pm
- 11a-8pm
Occasional partial/half days may also be available.
Responsibilities:
- Assures personal compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies.
- Evaluates and treats Center patients in accordance with Concentra's medical model.
- Establishes and monitors appropriate level of care for center patients.
- Completes all medical record documentation prior to end of shift.
- Works with Center Medical Director to ensure operations are consistent with medical and professional standards of care, Association and Concentra.
- Recommends potential growth opportunities for new or existing services within the Center.
- Meets with Concentra's Medical Director or designate to discuss quality of patient care, review policies, procedures, outcomes reports, and records.
- Participates in quality management processes including encouragement of clinical support staff to assure proficiency in the delivery of clinical support activities.Calls client representatives following employee treatment for initial injury and/or at any significant change in status.
- Calls patients to ensure their well-being as needed following center visits.
- In the absence of Center Medical Director, provides guidance to other medical personnel and center colleagues.
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university
- Board Certification or eligibility
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine
- FMCSA NRCME is required prior to start date - we provide this CME for colleagues not already certified
- DEA required prior to start date

This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate in the range of $78.00 to $96.00 depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
