Nurse Practitioner Interventional Cardiology

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Interventional Cardiology

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with preferably two years of experience to join our Interventional Cardiology team at Vein Heart and Vascular Institute. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular diseases, under the supervision of the attending physician.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and performing physical examinations.
• Order diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, in collaboration with the attending physician.
• Prescribe medications, as needed, and provide patient education on disease management and prevention.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 coverage for Interventional Cardiology services.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, and other specialists, to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a recognized national nursing organization.
• Current state nursing license.
• Excellent diagnostic and technical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
