- Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical EffortWorks in well lighted, ventilated, and air conditioned area. Long periods in a stationary position and moving around the unit are required. There are risks to exposure to blood, body fluids and tissue, diseases, infections, and physical strains. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently.
- Minimum Qualifications or EquivalentsEducation: Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and Licensure in the State of Kentucky.Experience: Minimal four (4) years of clinical expertise preferred.EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Licenses, Certifications, and/or RegistrationsCurrent Licensure and Certification as APRN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky with maintenance of DEA and CAPA-NS or CAPA-CS as regulated by the Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) based on APRN’s scope of practice. Advanced Life Support Certifications as indicated for clinician’s area of practice.
