Position has primary responsibility to serve as a specialty health care provider to strengthen and facilitate the education process by improving and protecting the health status of children through the prevention of illness and early detection and correction of health problems. Responsible for developing an innovative two-generational approach to applying professional expertise in the systematic delivery of comprehensive health services for children and families, agency-wide.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Nurse Practitioner).
- Demonstrated community leadership and advocacy skills highly desired.
- People-oriented and ability to work cross-functionally; multi-cultural experience in service delivery and experience in family or child development is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member; and develop positive rapport and professional attitude towards parents and staff.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, written communication, and organizational skills.
