Nurse Manager (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab

Provides 24-hour accountability for patient care delivery for specific cost centers,

Ensures that quality age appropriate nursing care is delivered to all patients on his/her nursing unit in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures and program plans of the hospital,

Assists with the development of patient care standards, orientation and continuing education,

Evaluates staff performance in accordance with organizational policies,

Develops, implements and maintains unit budget,

Participates in nursing quality assurance,

Maintains unit administration including scheduling and maintains of supplies and equipment,

Uses and understands the principles of growth and development to assess each patient s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care,

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing,

BSN required, MSN preferred. Certification highly desired.

Current New Jersey RN license,

Minimum 3-5 years acute nursing experience with one year of nursing management experience,

Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider course completion status,

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

Organizational ability, nurse management and leadership skills,

Demonstrated clinical expertise in area
