Position Summary: As a Nurse Manager, you'll work closely with our residents and collaborate with the care team. Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing, you'll assume responsibility for a group of residents during your shift. Your focus will be on providing high-quality nursing care, maintaining safety standards, and supervising other nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Nursing Care: Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to residents.
- Collaboration: Work closely with all members of the care team to ensure coordinated care.
- Safety Management: Maintain a safe environment for residents and adhere to care standards.
- Supervision: Oversee nursing assistants and nurses and manage daily operations.
- Resident Condition Monitoring: Regularly round with the care team to identify any changes in resident conditions.
- Compliance: Follow all policies and procedures as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications:
- RN or LPN License: Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Washington.
- Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.
- Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to make a positive impact on residents' lives.
