The Nurse Manager of this multi-specialty ASC will oversee the planning, organizing, directing and managing of 3 Operating Rooms, 6 Admit and 9 Post-Op recovery beds. The ASC Nursing Manager will play an important part in keeping the center moving forward as they oversee efficiency improvement initiatives to turn the Operating Rooms over faster, improve on-time starts, and increase patient satisfaction. Big plans are in place for strategic growth, and operational excellence in a multi-specialty ASC that serves as a catalyst for expansion of an innovative practice.
Further supporting operations is a really fantastic team of Ambulatory Surgery RNs and Techs. The Surgery Center Nursing Manager will not only oversee the day-to-day operations but will also occasionally assist in procedures. Key Requirements:
The Nursing Manager of Surgery should possess a high level of clinical competency as well as leadership skills.
State of MN RN License required.
5+ years of related RN experience preferred, in a multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery setting or operating room.
3+ years of management or supervisory experience required.
Ability to manage the overall operations in accordance with AAAHC guidelines and government regulations.
BLS certified
ACLS certificated
