Nurse Manager

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Manager to join the Medical Surgical Unit!

Description: Responsibilities include department oversight in conjunction with the Department Director. Works collaboratively with the Director on achieving departmental goals; collaborating to achieve organizational goals; coordinating all activities for the department; planning, directing, implementing, supervising and evaluating all aspects of patient care and department operations. Regulatory knowledge a plus to achieve requirements set by regulatory agencies. Shares responsibility for intradepartmental planning, program development, standards of care and integration of services in cooperation with administration and other departments.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. BSN or MSN preferred.

• Prefer at least 5 years of hospital acute care experience and at least 2 years of leadership experience.
