Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain accurate medical files for designated residents.
- Communicates with guardians regarding medical and medication matters.
- Scheduling and ensuring annual physicals and dental appointments for residents.
- Creating monthly MAR sheets and delivering them to properties.
- Submitting medical UIRs when necessary.
- Contacting pharmacies to verify and fill prescriptions.
- Circulate and visit every property to ensure the best medical practices and documentation.
- Safely discarding unused or expired medications.
- Receiving phone calls regarding resident health conditions and appropriate follow-up and recommendations.
- Keeping a record of monthly weight and vital statistics of all residents.
- Maintain current prescription lists and copies of scripts in all homes for each resident.
- Maintain separate medical files for each resident.
- Train new staff on Medical Administration practices, complete annual updates
- Work with the supervisors and Administrative team
- Maintain all quality standards in the home and ensure best practices followed
- Care for Residents at all time
- Comply with all employment and state requirements
